THEIR TRIP

Yuting’s trip to Busan

Yuting · Taiwan · 3 travelers · September 2026
“None of us speak a word of Korean, and the three of us still got to three spots along the coast by bus.”
— Yuting · Original in Traditional Chinese

What they wanted to do

The three of us wanted to spend our day in Busan by the sea. We don't speak Korean, and we weren't up for a ton of walking or rushing between sights.

How they planned it

Told Gokori we wanted a day by the sea without too much walking, and it put together an itinerary. We took out the places we didn't want and moved things around: Haeundae, then Cheongsapo, then Gwangalli. We looked up bus and subway routes in GOKO to get between stops.

  1. Start

Two friends playing in the waves at Haeundae, one kicking a splash

Morning walk by the water, dodging waves and splashing around. Fish cakes at the nearby market for breakfast.

  2. 2
    Cheongsapo청사포

Selfie of two friends on the Cheongsapo breakwater with the white lighthouse behind

Walked along the breakwater to the red and white lighthouses for selfies. Put our feet in the sea and splashed around for a while, too.

  3. End
    3
    Gwangalli Beach광안리해수욕장
People sitting on Gwangalli Beach at night, facing the lit-up Gwangan Bridge
Two friends on a picnic mat at Gwangalli at night, filming Gwangan Bridge

We laid out a picnic mat on the sand and had chicken after dark. Took photos of the lit-up Gwangan Bridge on our phones.

What happened on the trip

We stayed in Cheongsapo longer than planned, so it was already dark when we got to Gwangalli. The night view wasn't in the plan, but we ended up on the sand with chicken, taking photos of the lit-up Gwangan Bridge on our phones.
