Terms of Service

Welcome to GOKO ("Go Korea"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GOKO mobile application ("App") provided by Letter Bridge ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About the Service

GOKO is a travel planning and community platform designed for international visitors to South Korea. The App provides:

2.1. You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.

2.2. You may register using your email address or through third-party authentication providers (Google, Apple).

2.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

2.4. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your profile information up to date.

2.5. One person may only maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts may result in suspension.

3. User Content

3.1. Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you post, including text, photos, videos, reviews, and comments ("User Content").

3.2. License to Us: By posting User Content, you grant GOKO a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the App and for promotional purposes. This license ends when you delete your content, except where it has been shared by others or is retained for legal compliance.

3.3. Content Standards: You agree NOT to post content that:

3.4. AI Translation: Community content may be translated using AI. Translations are provided for convenience and may not be perfectly accurate. The original author's intended meaning takes precedence.

4. Community Guidelines

4.1. The Community feature is a space for respectful discussion about South Korea, including travel, culture, food, K-pop, and daily life.

4.2. Reporting: Users may report content that violates these Terms. Content receiving 3 or more reports may be automatically hidden pending review.

4.3. Moderation: We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.

4.4. Place Tags: Place information shared in Community posts is user-generated and may not be accurate. Always verify critical information independently.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. The App, including its design, features, code, and branding (including the GOKO name and logo), is the property of Letter Bridge and is protected by intellectual property laws.

5.2. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

5.3. Travel itineraries generated by AI are provided as suggestions and are not proprietary.

6. Third-Party Services

6.1. The App integrates with third-party services including but not limited to: Google (Gemini AI, authentication), Apple (authentication), Naver (map rendering), Korea Tourism Organization (TourAPI), ODsay (transit routing), and Korea Meteorological Administration (weather data).

6.2. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

6.3. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or reliability of third-party services.

7. Offline Features

7.1. Certain features are available offline, including saved itineraries, maps, and place information.

7.2. Offline data is stored locally on your device. We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, app deletion, or other causes.

7.3. When connectivity is restored, offline changes will sync with our servers.

8. Fees and Payments

8.1. GOKO is free to use. No subscription or in-app purchases are required for core features.

8.2. The App may display advertisements. Ad content is provided by third-party networks and does not represent endorsement by GOKO.

8.3. Affiliate links or partner promotions may be featured. These will be clearly labeled.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

9.1. The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

9.2. We do not guarantee that: the App will be error-free or uninterrupted; AI-generated itineraries or translations will be accurate; place information will be current; or transit routing will reflect real-time conditions.

9.3. Travel decisions should not rely solely on information provided by the App. Always verify critical information with official sources.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Letter Bridge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10.2. This includes but is not limited to: missed transportation, incorrect directions, inaccurate place information, translation errors, or loss of data.

10.3. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which may be zero for free users).

11. Account Termination

11.1. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

11.2. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Community posts may be retained in anonymized form.

11.3. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.

12. Changes to Terms

12.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email.

12.2. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12.3. If you disagree with changes, you may delete your account.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

13.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

13.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Busan District Court.

13.3. Before filing a legal claim, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith communication.

GOKO("고코")에 오신 것을 환영합니다. 본 이용약관("약관")은 레터브리지("회사")가 제공하는 GOKO 모바일 애플리케이션("앱")의 이용에 관한 사항을 규정합니다.

계정을 생성하거나 앱을 이용함으로써 본 약관에 동의하는 것으로 간주됩니다. 동의하지 않으시면 앱 이용을 중단해 주세요.

제1조 (서비스 내용)

GOKO는 한국을 방문하는 외국인을 위한 여행 플래너 및 커뮤니티 플랫폼으로, 다음 서비스를 제공합니다:

제2조 (회원 가입)

① 만 14세 이상부터 가입할 수 있습니다.

② 이메일 또는 소셜 로그인(Google, Apple)으로 가입할 수 있습니다.

③ 계정 정보의 관리 책임은 회원에게 있습니다.

④ 가입 시 정확한 정보를 제공해야 하며, 변경 시 갱신해야 합니다.

⑤ 1인 1계정 원칙입니다. 복수 계정 생성 시 이용이 제한될 수 있습니다.

제3조 (이용자 콘텐츠)

① 이용자가 게시한 콘텐츠(텍스트, 사진, 영상, 리뷰, 댓글)의 저작권은 이용자에게 있습니다.

② 이용자는 콘텐츠를 게시함으로써 회사에 앱 내 표시·배포 및 홍보 목적의 비독점적, 전세계적, 무상 라이선스를 부여합니다. 콘텐츠 삭제 시 라이선스는 종료됩니다(단, 타인이 공유한 경우 또는 법적 보존 의무가 있는 경우 제외).

③ 다음에 해당하는 콘텐츠는 게시할 수 없습니다:

④ 커뮤니티 콘텐츠는 AI로 번역될 수 있으며, 번역의 정확성을 보장하지 않습니다. 원문의 의미가 우선합니다.

제4조 (커뮤니티 운영)

① 커뮤니티는 한국에 관한 건전한 토론 공간입니다.

② 약관 위반 콘텐츠는 신고할 수 있으며, 3건 이상 신고된 콘텐츠는 검토 전까지 자동 비공개됩니다.

③ 회사는 약관 위반 콘텐츠 삭제 및 계정 정지를 사전 통보 없이 할 수 있습니다.

④ 장소 정보는 이용자가 작성한 것이며, 정확성을 보장하지 않습니다.

제5조 (지적재산권)

① 앱의 디자인, 기능, 코드, 브랜드는 회사의 자산이며 지적재산권법의 보호를 받습니다.

② 앱의 복제, 수정, 배포, 역공학은 금지됩니다.

제6조 (제3자 서비스)

① 앱은 Google, Apple, Naver, 한국관광공사, ODsay, 기상청 등 제3자 서비스를 포함합니다.

② 제3자 서비스의 정확성, 가용성, 신뢰성에 대해 회사는 책임지지 않습니다.

제7조 (오프라인 기능)

① 저장된 일정, 지도, 장소 정보 등 일부 기능은 오프라인에서 이용 가능합니다.

② 오프라인 데이터는 기기에 저장되며, 기기 고장·앱 삭제 등에 의한 데이터 손실에 대해 회사는 책임지지 않습니다.

제8조 (요금)

① GOKO는 무료 서비스입니다.

② 앱 내 광고가 표시될 수 있습니다.

③ 제휴 링크 및 파트너 프로모션은 명확하게 표기됩니다.

제9조 (면책)

① 앱은 "있는 그대로" 제공되며, 어떠한 보증도 하지 않습니다.

② AI 생성 일정·번역의 정확성, 장소 정보의 최신성, 대중교통 경로의 실시간성을 보장하지 않습니다.

③ 여행 관련 결정은 공식 출처를 통해 반드시 확인하시기 바랍니다.

제10조 (책임 제한)

① 법이 허용하는 최대 범위 내에서, 앱 이용으로 인한 간접적·부수적·특별·결과적 손해에 대해 회사는 책임지지 않습니다.

② 회사의 총 책임은 이용자가 직전 12개월간 회사에 지불한 금액을 초과하지 않습니다.

제11조 (계정 해지)

① 이용자는 앱 설정에서 언제든 계정을 삭제할 수 있습니다.

② 삭제 시 개인정보는 개인정보처리방침에 따라 처리됩니다. 커뮤니티 게시글은 익명화하여 보존될 수 있습니다.

③ 약관 위반 시 회사는 계정을 정지하거나 해지할 수 있습니다.

제12조 (약관 변경)

① 약관은 수시로 변경될 수 있으며, 중요 변경 시 앱 또는 이메일로 통지합니다.

② 변경 후 앱을 계속 이용하면 변경에 동의한 것으로 간주합니다.

제13조 (준거법 및 관할)

① 본 약관은 대한민국 법률에 따라 해석됩니다.

② 분쟁 발생 시 부산지방법원을 전속 관할로 합니다.
